Tales of the Haunted Chamber (Part 1):The Fall of 1935

Forgive me for my littlest crimes,
For falling for you for another first times.
That was when I finally made it to Shanghai.
It was the fall of 1935.

And I believed your every sincerest lies.
For you believed it like it was the truth in your frame of mind.
But like every Haunted Chambers playing tricks with rhymes.
I am trapped in your totem and it was fine.

But all the truth behind the lies shall be remembered.
And all I could do is run away and be shattered.
Your little wolf came with a price in another life paralleled.
I was the present you just can't be with at that moment.

In the fall of 1935
You tossed a coin and you saved a life.
And in decades of haunting fragments of diamonds in every  graphites.
I am in the mindscape of the astral plane in the fall of 1935.

Footnotes:
The Tales of the Haunted Chamber is a trilogy poetry that I wrote from the hearts of 3 characters who met each other in 3 different years and circumstances that made each of them decide for a moment and regretted for the rest of their lives.
Unrequited love, a forgotten lover, and a love that got away, respectively. All inspired by the prequel poetry about The Better Man.

Been obsessing with this song again lately...
Though I've been a fan since the released of the first single - The Blower's Daughter.
Color Me In
(Damien Rice)
Well, I tried to repress it and I carried it's crown
I reached out to undress it and love let me down
Love let me down
So I tried to erase it, but the ink bled right through
Almost drove myself crazy and these words led to you
And all these useless dreams of living alone
Like a dog-less bone
So come let me love you
Come let me love you
And then, colour me in
Well, I tried to control it and cover it up
I reached out to console it, it was never enough
Never enough
So I tried to forget it, it was all part of the show
Told myself I'd regret it, but what do I know
About all these useless dreams of living alone
Like a dog-less bone
So come let me love you
Come let me love you
And then, colour me in
Come let me love you
Come let me take this through the end
Of all these useless dreams of living
All these useless dreams
All these useless dreams of living
All these, oh, no
So come let me love you
Come let me love you
Come let me love you
Come let me in

To Always and Forever

Allow me to indulge in a little amusing story
Of your long centuries of histories.
A coffee with lightnings and thunders.
That in the parallel universe
We may be blessed instead of cursed.
For you ransacked my thoughts
And took my heart as the ransom.
But where you left it
Is my Always and Forever.

A prison.
A compulsion.
Like a poetry in every emotions,
Mosaicly embossed on a wall of pains.
I am watching myself change,
But holding on to one thing...
My always and forever.

And when all the darkest of wounds melt away,
Secrets spilled and covered with clay.
Until our hearts are safe,
I will remember you again.
My Always and Forever.

Footnotes:
Inspired by E.M.
The better man in the story
Of the Chamber Series I wrote.
E.M. is a fictional character from another story that I encountered and inspired me to write my own fiction revolving around his story in the year 1933. But dates other than that has been changed to create another set of, in my thoughts, a set of a paralleled universe.
But what ever parallel as it may seem,
The inevitable will always and forever will still happen.

Rented Home

So you say "no strings attached",
You cut off those strings
But you saved the treads - what's that?

It feels like I'm stuck in here,
Drinking my 8th glass of beer,
I'm dreaming for tomorrow,
And you're living in the past - how's that?

But I love you
And you're teaching me how to hold on.
To something that's not mine.
And I need you.
But I don't know where I belong to.
Cause you seemed like a rented home.
Like a rented home.

Oh! how I love your yellow cap.
You always wear it on sunny days & rainy ones.
And oh! where's the red one,
You also wear it when you swing your mood out of time.

And I've got the pain of a blue-eyed angel.
And you're the yellow freaky green-eyed monster.
You're strong enough but you chose to run - why?

And I'm telling you now
How you get into my nerve but I like it somehow.
How you made me shiver on a hot sunny day.
And how you paint rainbows in the middle of the night.
It's amazing how you simply fade away!

So I'm stuck in here.
Finishing this glass of beer. You're here but I feel all alone.
Cause with you, this place feels like a rented home.

Footnotes:
Written Circa'02.
Supposed to be part of an entry for a script play but was remained unfinished.
And the yellow and red cap was inspired by a classmate from algebra class. 😁

Mist on the Window

If you're screaming so loud but nobody hears you ...
Then maybe...
You're alone.

That 90's Band

All for the L♥️ve...
Of Music...
And Coffee.

And I'm getting a bit nostalgic since I've been a fan since highschool.
And probably almost all kids who grew up in the 90's could sing along with their tunes...
Nananana nanana nananana...

Most people are so good in taking all their Privileges without a single ounce of Responsibility.

If only ears could see... then we'll realize that what we hear is different from what really happened.

After the Rain

There is something beautiful after the rain.
Maybe the scent...
The petrichor that lingers after the waters from heaven touched the earth.
Or maybe the colors...
The blue and gray that defies the yellow.
Or maybe those little drops...
That still holding on to something, defying the fall, until they just become mist, never touching the ground.
