Tales of the Haunted Chamber (Part 1):The Fall of 1935

Forgive me for my littlest crimes,
For falling for you for another first times.
That was when I finally made it to Shanghai.
It was the fall of 1935.

And I believed your every sincerest lies.
For you believed it like it was the truth in your frame of mind.
But like every Haunted Chambers playing tricks with rhymes.
I am trapped in your totem and it was fine.

But all the truth behind the lies shall be remembered.
And all I could do is run away and be shattered.
Your little wolf came with a price in another life paralleled.
I was the present you just can't be with at that moment.

In the fall of 1935
You tossed a coin and you saved a life.
And in decades of haunting fragments of diamonds in every  graphites.
I am in the mindscape of the astral plane in the fall of 1935.

Footnotes:
The Tales of the Haunted Chamber is a trilogy poetry that I wrote from the hearts of 3 characters who met each other in 3 different years and circumstances that made each of them decide for a moment and regretted for the rest of their lives.
Unrequited love, a forgotten lover, and a love that got away, respectively. All inspired by the prequel poetry about The Better Man.
