Your Heart, Your Strength, Your Power

 But in reality...

Heroes don't wear capes.

They don't fly.

They don't look like angels.

They are not perfect...

And neither they are invincible.

They appear as a common face in a faceless crowd.

Struggling to survive and save a life each day with the littlest power they have.

And truth be told...

Their power is just their heart trying to be strong.

So if you're one of us... With a heart as the only power we have to survive and save a life each day...

Happy heroes day!

May our hearts find comfort in it's strength.

 But I was created with a heart that is whole...

So I don't think I'll be needing a better half at all.

And I've been saving lullabies

Just for my rainy days.

But it's been pouring since July,

And my last song is wishing it was May.

But all for the scents of petrichor.

All for the moments of daze.

Create in me a raconteur,

Then fade incandescently like haze.
