 Working on a new song tonight while trying to get some sleep.

It's been a while since I wrote my last song and I'm trying to make new tunes for this one.

It's an OPM song, I entitled it "Ok Na Ako Kanina Pa" (I've Been Ok for sometime).

Looking forward to record it if I finally get the chance.

There are those empty,

Vague, hole spaces

In every moments

Jargons and jokes

Wear your scars like a crown...

Let them know how you won your battles.

Wear your pain like your make up...

Let them see how the hurt made you more beautiful.

Wear your insecurities like your jewels...

Let them be awed by how you shine by yourself.

Wear your smile like your clothes...

Let them be amazed by how you manage to wear it everyday.

 

On the 5th Track

Like a soulmate, so familiar.

But strange, I no longer know

Who you really are.

Like the songs we used to sing along,

I stopped on the 5th track

Every word is the same

But nothing is what it used to.

And I blame the distance...

It made us grew apart.

I blame time...

It didn't endure us.

I blame life...

It made us too busy to talk.

I blame fear...

It made us lose our confidence with each other.

I blame pride...

It made me not want to reach out first.

I blame ego...

It made you not want to make the effort.

I blame myself...

For letting all these become barriers between us.

And I blame you...

For not giving a damn.

Sail Your Way

 You were the most beautiful thing

I have ever kept inside my heart.

But sometimes,

Beautiful dreams are needed to be sold.

Without beautiful explanation,

Just ugly sacrifices.

So if I never see you again

On my doorstep,

I understand.

For I have burned the bridges on the way to my home.

But sometimes...

I still indulge in my imagination...

Chaos of the Universe

 But in the chaos of the universe...

Our stars have been together...

 Long before time...

Long before we met...

Long before we knew it.

Dancing with Ghosts

 And we're dancing with our ghosts...

With their skeletons on our grounds.

It scratches our feet...

But it cannot kill us.

And as time passes...

We've been dancing with fears.

Scratches become calluses...

Our feet become thick.

And so we become strong enough.

To stop the music...

To stop the dances...

To walk away...

And let the ghosts be buried...

Along with the skeletons...

In their graves.

If you want to learn how to love your life..

First, let your life teach you.

If you're willing to learn...

All challenges will be welcomed.

All challenges are favorable odds to you. 

All challenges will bring out the best in you.

And if that is so...
How can you not love something that do all these for you.

The Better Road

 For every thousand miles you have to go through...

I'll go to see it first.

Lay the better road for you,

Before I lay to rest.
