Shadow and Light

But I've lost you somewhere all along,

And I tried to retrace my footprints,

But the wind had it all blown,

And so I just carried on.

Through out my journey in the endless path,

I didn't realize I found you again.

In a different shape, in a different form, in a different sight.

The past becomes a shadow and the future is my light.

Born with a Broken Heart

Maybe we were all born with a broken heart,
That is where the love could seeped through.
It can never be unbroken, it can never be healed.
It can only be filled.

Love is a Demon

But love is a demon devouring our hearts,
Putting butterflies in our stomachs,
A make-believe that we're flying,
But we are actually falling and falling until we're fallen,
Like angels thrown down from heaven.

And just like that, we are nothing but specks.
Loving and leaving without a trace.
Like mist evaporating even before touching the ground,
We hang on to spaces waiting to be found,
Hoping we could fit in to whom we are bound.

Oh love is a demon devouring our hearts,
And we are the willing sinners from the start,
Chasing the greatest temptation,
Diving into the depths of emotions,
Believing it can save us, but everything is just a delusion.

Essential Yet Appealed

Cheers to the beautiful life with you.

Cheers to growing old with you.

Cheers to more learnings and adventure with you.

Happy 5th anniversary to My Boston... (Where everyone knows my Name).

Does true love had to be...
Suffocating...
Intoxicating...
Making me choke...
Grasping for air...
Tired of the chains...
But never wanting the freedom as well.
If you will ask me to define happiness
In the most detailed way,
Then I would say, it is everytime...

I want to live in a moment,
I want to capture all the beauty that I see,
I want to breathe the air every morning,
I want to see the sunset everyday,
I want to look at the blue sky on each bright day,
I want to watch the rain by my window,
I want to live in each moment that I find beauty.

Regrets

But for some reasons...
If we could go back in time...
We will still choose to do the same mistakes,
Ever willing to go through the brokenness and regrets all over again.

Pain

More than just for the lessons we've learned,
Maybe we can actually extract happiness in pain after all.
So we are willing to dance in fire again and again,
Never let the chance to slip to get hurt again.

Scars

The calmness in the madness,
The hope in the tiniest spark,
The glory of every torture,
The beauty of every scars.

Slow Motion

I'll put it in a slow motion,
Only to have more time with this emotion,
Though it is the torture I have to bear,
It is the bliss that in loneliness I've been spared.

Rewind

So I'll rewind it and go back to your arms,
And I'd rather be broken a hundred times,
For I wouldn't miss every single chance,
To be there and hold you and dance.

Rush

I want to rush it to the end,
Where the broken hearts mend.
But I don't want to fast it forward,
When your beautiful face is what I see upfront.

The One

And I weighed everything on the scale...
And found out that ...
The One is more than a hundred.
The One is more than the sum of everything.

A Thousand Pebbles

We will find a thousand pebbles,
And tens of other gems,
But only that one stone that has a story to tell,
Will be precious for us,
Worthy than the rarest diamond.

The Happy Ending

And we'll never find the happy ending,
Because we were traitors of our first loves.
We'll get to the end of our stories,
We'll feel better...
But feeling better doesn't mean happy.

A Thousand Heartbreaks

A thousand heartbreaks for the weekend,
All for the stories written,
But not for me...
But my heart still aches for thee.

Sparks and Spaces

Did we run into each other's arms just to fill in the spaces and then hurt each other when the warmth of the sparks ignited into flames?

Poignant Poetries

And for all the poignant poetries
Written under the moon.
The window pane knows the pain,
And the stars heard the fervent rains,
Of saline waters gushing into the eyes...
Of the one who lives in the bubble...
Looking outside through a clear lens,
Hoping someone will poke it,
Maybe cupid could arrow it,
But then, she'll just continue living in a bubble where everything is clear to see,
But inside is just a poignant poetry.
