The Light that Never Fades

Ok, I'll make this post as short as possible...
Motherhood has taught me a lot of great lessons in life, but above it all, throughout this journey, I've learned what unconditional love really means. I've learned that those old cliches like (mothers tend to ignore themselves and give the last bite of their bread to their kids to satisfy them and mothers' love are unconditional) are true.
I never thought that a kid will teach me those lessons in life, but she (my daughter) did, because motherhood transformed me to a woman, and everyday, it brings out the best in me and that makes me a better version of myself a day at a time.
Happy Mother's day to all mothers espacially to my mom who is my mentor and the first one who taught me how to become a good mother.

Ode to Adrianne

We don't settle for what we love.
We take chances on what is available.
And so we ended up wanting,
Satisfying our insatiable soul.
Filling up that one big hole,
Wanting desperately to become whole.
We cradle our hopes with fears on the side.
We create chances and we burn them the same.
We fight for happiness
Until we forgot what happiness means.
We forgot or we confused it with success for money and fame.
But I tell you now that happiness is success itself.
Such a shame only a few could understand that.
And I hope you don't drown yourself in misery
While people around you just walk away.
I hope you dance your way through the fire.
If you burn... Burn in passion for love.
P.s. Dedicated to the strong women like Adrianne.

The Ballad of a Rockstar

An accidental poetry happened as I poured my broken heart out, and as it reached the floor it shattered like a glass strewn all around.
And while some songs are broken, I think it hurts more when you know the story behind the words.
Like...
How your eyes like the sky are like windows through forever.
Looking at them I could see the stars and heavens.
And your hair as gold as the sun that refused to set is like my broken heart that refused to stop beating for you.
I swear I could be one of those throwing diamonds at you to look my way.
But you are the golden boy and she's a simple girl who won the heart of the hearthrob. It could have been me if only I'm lucky or maybe a little bit weak. And with all those instruments he's rocking you, you rock his world more than you knew.
And its funny and sad at the same time knowing that I'm not the only one singing songs for you. My songs are not the only songs written for you. My heart is just one in a million that is beating for you and maybe the lucky bitch feels the same way too.
But I couldn't be happy for you knowing that our lines will never cross.
Like I'm flying towards the east and you're boarding on the west coast.
Chances come and go but the chance did not even come my way. I tried to build a chance but it all burned the same day.
So I blamed it on the stars, I blamed it on you.
Till I got tired of blaming others so I took the blame too.
Now there's no one to blame, no more regrets, no longer in shame.
Just fate unravelling in arbitrarily.
No more what if's no, no more if only's.
Just day to day lives we live in.
Surviving.
Dying.
Truth hurts.
Truth is ugly.
But you are the one true thing that is beautiful.
Beautiful tragedy in a form of poemic art.
All written like a ballad for a rockstar.

If there's one thing I would like to tell to everyone, that is - do your best to touch someone else's life. Be an inspiration in your own little way. Life is too short and too fragile, we cannot all be great, there will always be someone greater than us, but living is NOT a battle for GREATNESS BUT a battle to be GOOD.To die and be remembered as a good man, NOT by the WHOLE world, but by those people or even JUST ONE person whom you were able to touch and inspire and could look at everyone in the eye and say on your burial day that this person was a GOOD man.

Butterfly on a Wheel

My 5 year-old daughter asked me this morning why my keys had a bicycle and a butterfly... And I replied immediately without thinking - "That's what you call a butterfly on a wheel", then she asked me again - "what's that?", then I told her - "...you'll understand it when you get older."
Now I'm thinking that that conversation was a bit hilarious! π€π

The Noble Villain
It is a dilemma between obeying what is right and being kind enough to hurt. To be honest to hurt or to lie for the most sincere reason. To fight in the midst of not knowing if the one you’re fighting for is at your side or worst… the one you’re fighting for is the one you’re fighting with. I see love in there… I might be the prophecy… I might be the tongue… I might be the knowledge… then I shall fail, I shall cease, I shall vanish away. Maybe my soul-purpose is to make them stronger for one another. Maybe I was destined to be the tester of faith… of their faithfulness for each other, and I know I could choose on what to do… but the truth is… I really don’t have a choice… I don’t have any options. Like Judas… did Judas really had a choice then when he kissed and betrayed Jesus? Oh! Come on! If he did not do that, the prophecy will fail. He just fulfilled his destiny. He should have gotten his reward for doing it good. Being the villain for the noblest reason.

The Art of Hardwork

"If you want to achieve something, do not fear the work." - T. HANSON
Humans are beautiful creatures with ugly traits. That is one ugly truth about us. Sure we want to achieve a lot of things but only a few of them we can really accomplish. For ugly reasons, we fear the work; and for uglier reasons, we idle to work.
I wasn't born yesterday, in fact, I am passed half way through my retirement, and though I've seen a lot of hardworking people, I've seen idle and irresponsible people equal enough as well.
What bothers me about these people who idle around at their jobs is the fact that I can't quite understand the sense of them being alive. Its like they walk here on earth just to merely exist at all, with no sense of purpose and the sense of becoming sensible and productive at all.
If you go to work just to play, I suggest, why not just quit your job because I can assure you that there's a lot of more promising and deserving someone out there to replace you.
Sometimes I wonder what's going on in that feeble mind at the end of the day.
Does it ever bother you that you just spent a whole day procrastinating and playing idle games on your cellphone, and wasted the whole 24 hours without a purpose of living at all?
Does it bother you that you're wasting your youth without trying to achieve something important to look back to after 20 years and be proud of it still?
Does it bother you that you are not inspiring enough to anyone not even to your own self?
Does it bother you that you are too self-centered that you cannot even contribute a thing at all?
Does it bother you that you think you're way too cool but the truth is - YOU ARE THAT ONE BIG JOKE THAT NO ONE IS LAUGHING?
Can you even look at yourself at the mirror and be proud of what and who you really are?
At the end of the day, I believe that it is important to ask yourself if you've done something good today.
Because as what I always say, the best part of being home at the end of the day is when you lay down and still can't sleep because you are reminiscing every moment of the day you just had. Those little moments that you know worth the while. Those little things that could be so minute to the universe but it meant something to someone.
And doing your job, being responsible, being productive could make a difference maybe not to the whole universe, but to someone else's life.
You'll never know how your little acts could save or kill a mortal soul everyday. So let us be mindful of our duties and responsibilities.
Lastly, I am not a perfect person, but I am proud to say that everyday, I am becoming a much better version of myself than who and what I am yesterday, for reasons, I keep my passion to learn burning, and my eagerness to achieve something kept me going... AND I DON'T FEAR THE WORK AND NEITHER DO I IDLE AT IT.
