Conversation with my 6-year old daughter after having her vaccination.
Her: Mommy why does it hurt? (the vaccination)
Me: It hurts because what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. When you got hurt, you get stronger after the pain. So when you had your vaccine, it hurts, but then, you will become stronger.
Her: Mommy you should say - it hurts because of the needle and that's it!
Me: yeah, I haven't thought about that... BECAUSE OF THE NEEDLE.
