Silence Rising

Could you tell me where
You're going whenever you're gone.
Busy making big mistakes somewhere,
Playing hearts 'til dawn.

But we can't play the victims
For our own stupid crimes.
We can't purify our sins
With our own dirty hands.

Someday you'll get tired
Chasing unworthy dreams.
Dreaming senseless pride,
Playing hidden schemes.

Will you come back then,
See the ruins of the shattered dreams,
Trudge this old road again,
See what's left beyond the scene.

For how can you fly
If like an angel you need a pair of wings.
And you can't deny
The other half is missing.

No surprise you keep on crashing.
Haunted little lies scattered on the ground.
Like dirty white feathers or something in between,
Let your other wing be found.
