Real Star

These past months had been terrible to me...

I feel like drowning...

I keep myself away from people.

I just wanted to be alone.

But today...

I talked to my mom over breakfast...
And now I'm feeling ok.

Maybe I just needed a human to talk to...
To know exactly what I'm going through in this phase of my life.

My faith is shaking...

And luckily...
My mom enlightened my mind.

A good start for the coming weekend.

Gotta head off to work now.

The Songs I Write at Night 4

And so I talked again
To the stars last night.
Because there is no one to talk to.
And though they are just balls of fire,
They still made me feel better.

For when the grey walls
Start to fall down...
Be careful what you wish for
For even beautiful roads has a ditch.

There is a burden in truth
For honesty has a price to pay.
So I am waiting and still is...
For truth to come and set me free.

When Everything was Black and White

I remember...
When everything was black and white.
And in between were...
Grey walls from side to side.

I was ok...
Back then I sensed no danger.
Til one day...
I started to care.

Suddenly...
There was red and blue.
Surprisingly...
There are colours of every hue.

I sense...
Love and happiness.
And tense...
Longing and emptiness.

I saw...
Butterflies and roses in the greens.
But also...
There are silver thorns in the scene.

Now I feel...
I'm in great danger.
No longer still...
On the edge of a crater.

Beautiful...
And it is still amazing.
But I am full...
Of fear in this strange thing.

Now I see clearly...
All the colours captivates my heart.
I'm scared but I don't want to be...
Back to when everything was black and white.

Could someone tell me the difference between FAITH and FOOLISHNESS?

And what is the thin line in between?

How will you know if you're being FAITHFUL TO GOD or just being a FOOL BY YOUR OWN CONVICTION?

I just wanted to close all my windows and doors...
I just wanted to shut myself down away from all the people...

I am drowning in the crowd.

I just want to be alone with myself.

But the world keeps on moving...
The sun keeps on rising...

And I have no choice but to dance with the day. 😭😭😭

The Songs I Write at Night 3

I talked to every stars at night
From every constellation I know.
But then I realized
They were all just balls of fire.

So now I looked up again
To the skies coated
With black canopy broidered with diamonds.
But this time I didn't ask for a sign.

I just raised my cup of coffee
As I spoke to everyone of them
- "A toast to the balls of fire...
For the burden of truth...
For making me feel this fear...
For making me not knowing what to do.
A toast to the balls of fire...
For the longest time...
I've been watching...
I used to ask for signs...
But they gave me fear.
A toast to the balls of fire...
For now my senses are awake...
Maybe because of my coffee...
Or maybe because of fear.
So a toast to the balls of fire...
Because in spite of fear...
I am facing each morning...
With my faith stronger...
Than my cup of coffee."

I am drunk with my impulsiveness...

I can't seem to catch up with my sudden rush...

I am left behind...

As I move forward.

SONG OF THE DAY

"Drops Of Jupiter"

Now that he's back in the atmosphere
With drops of Jupiter in his hair, hey, hey, hey
He acts like summer and walks like rain
Reminds me that there's a time to change, hey, hey, hey
Since the return from his stay on the moon
He listens like spring and he talks like June, hey, hey, hey
Hey, hey, hey

But tell me, did you sail across the sun?
Did you make it to the Milky Way to see the lights all faded
And that heaven is overrated?

Tell me, did you fall for a shooting star–
One without a permanent scar?
And did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there?

Now that he's back from that soul vacation
Tracing his way through the constellation, hey, hey, hey (mmm)
He checks out Mozart while he does tae-bo
Reminds me that there's room to grow, hey, hey, hey (yeah)

Now that he's back in the atmosphere
I'm afraid that he might think of me as plain ol' Jane
Told a story about a man who was too afraid to fly so he never did land

But tell me, did the wind sweep you off your feet?
Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day
And head back to the Milky Way?

And tell me, did Venus blow your mind?
Was it everything you wanted to find?
And did you miss me while you were looking for yourself out there?

Can you imagine no love, pride, deep-fried chicken?
Your best friend always sticking up for you even when I know you're wrong
Can you imagine no first dance, freeze dried romance, five-hour phone conversation?
The best soy latte that you ever had and me

But tell me, did the wind sweep you off your feet?
Did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day
And head back toward the Milky Way?

And tell me, did you sail across the sun?
Did you make it to the Milky Way to see the lights all faded
And that heaven is overrated?

And tell me, did you fall for a shooting star
One without a permanent scar?
And did you miss me while you were looking for yourself?

And did you finally get the chance to dance along the light of day?
And did you fall for a shooting star, fall for a shooting star?
And now you're lonely looking for yourself out there

The Songs I Write at Night II

For those who dare to hope...
In the midst of their fragile faith.
We are ones singing
The songs we write at night.

We question every conspiracies.
Are we going to make it to our destiny?
See the sunset never seen before,
Meet the waves towards the shore.

And I told myself...
For one more day
Give it another chance.
For one more day
Have another dance.
But I say this to myself
Everyday.
And everyday
Is just the same.

So this is for me
Who dares to hope
In the midst of my fragile faith.
I am singing
The songs I write at night.
