A Tale of Summer

 Once upon a time many summers ago...

With the sun's heat,

Two hearts beat,

A love story untold.

But we'll never know which graphite

Will turn into diamonds,

So we collect stones

Until we learn our lessons.

So we ended up trying,

Forgetting what we still remember.

Creating spaces for the afterglows and embers,

But sparks no longer come by flying.

Someone from a long time ago,

A lover in a past,

Strings that didn't last,

A stranger that my heart knows.

 So when the going gets tough...

I say - "Bukas ko na lang yan pag iisipan."

(I'll think about it tomorrow) 🤣😊

 Maybe unicorns are real...

Maybe they're not just a myth.

But maybe none of us has a pure heart after all...

That is why nobody has ever seen a unicorn.

I Can

 I can never be perfect...

But I can be good.

I can be kind.

I can be strong.

I can be brave.

I can be beautiful.

I can never be perfect...

And I am not trying to be one.

But I am trying to become better. 

Trying my best to be the best version of myself everyday.

I am not perfect...

Because I am human.

I am not perfect...

And could never be one.

But I have a heart that is trying its best to be a good person. 

A heart that is not pure but trying its best to reach out and inspire. 

A heart that knows God.

And I can do a lot of thing through God that strengthens me.

Just because God uses people and things as His instruments to make things happen, doesn't make it less of a miracle.

But you didn't go unnoticed.

Like how the first of snow came.

Like how one fateful solstice,

Everything fits in one frame.

Autumn turned into winter.

On a fateful night, the 30th.

November became December,

But sky still shines the brightest.

Oh, you didn't go unnoticed.

I saw the first of snow came.

I was awake on that fateful solstice.

I was there when it all fitted in one frame.
