But I believe that the matter of argument should be... Who will fill your glass? Will you wait for someone to fill it up for you or will you fill it yourself?
I think choosing the latter is better, because if you fill your own glass, you have the option of what to fill and you can even make it overflow because it's your call after all. Unlike being dependent to someone to fill it up for you, if they refuse to fill it one day then you will be empty. If they choose to fill it with bitter wine then you'll be bitter. So fill your own glass with your own choice of drink and make it overflow.
Here's another realization.
This morning I was running late but I still set up two glasses half-filled with water, captured it so I can use a photo for this blog post. I could have just post something even without a photo, but because I wanted to, I chose to make my own scene. And I just thought that simple things like that could actually fill your glass.
